Who Runs The World? Beyoncé, that is the world of entertainment as the she lands the number one spot on the Forbes Celebrity Top 100 list.
After a hugely successful world tour, Forbes estimates the singer averaged $2.4 million per night playing 95 shows. That coupled with her first visual album, “Beyoncé” selling more than a million copies of her single “Drunk In Love” alone and the album breaking ITunes records for most downloads in a week.
Along with her lucrative endorsement deals with H&M and Pepsi, fragrances, clothing line and other business ventures Forbes estimates Beyoncé earned a cool $115 million between June 1, 2013-June 1, 2014.
Her hubby, Jay Z didn’t do too shabby either bringing in an estimated $60 million landing in 6th place.
Lebron James came in second with an estimated $72 million followed by Dr. Dre with $662 million thanks to the sale of Beats by Dre to Apple earlier this year.
Oprah was number one last year but fell to number four bringing in around $82 million.
Ellen DeGeneres rounded out the top five bringing in $72 million.
The list measured fame in a variety of ways including how many times each celebrity was mentioned in print, TV and radio. social media power and overall impact score.
