According to new court documents, Chris Brown has been diagnosed with bipolar II, severe insomnia, and post-traumatic stress disorder, all leading to extreme anger issues.

Documents were filed by the facility treating Brown for a court ordered 90 day anger management program.  The docs also revealed Chris was inappropriately self-medicating.

The good news is, Chris has responded well to treatment.  The facility center says he’s on meds for bipolar and other conditions and received an exemplary progress report on his community service.

Nearly 6 million people suffer from bipolar II disorder and virtually anyone can develop it.  Most people with bipolar II disorder also suffer from episodes of depression. This is where the term “manic depression” comes from. With proper treatment, many people with bipolar II disorder live normal lives.

Continued success, Chris!
