The best time to consume fruit is first-thing in the morning on an empty stomach or as a mid-morning snack in between breakfast and lunch for optimal health, energy and weight loss.

Acidic fruits like grapefruit and other citrus, pineapples, pomegranates, sour apples and plums, strawberries and tomatoes don’t pair well with sweet fruits like grapes, bananas, persimmon, figs, prunes, and dates because the digestive processing time is different.
FYI, melons (watermelon, cantaloupe, honey dew etc.) more than any other fruit should be eaten alone or not at all.
