Kanye West entered a “special no contest plea” to misdemeanor battery against photographer, Daniel Ramos at LAX airport today.
He was not present in court; however, the judge sentenced Kanye to two years probation, 24 therapy sessions for anger management and 250 hours of community service.
The photographer, who claims to be under doctors care for the injuries suffered when Kanye wrestled his camera away; said attack was unprovoked, and Kanye’s comments on Jimmy Kimmel Live-
“It’s not safe for you in this zoo. Never think for one second I’m not from Chicago,”
made him fearful of retaliation.
He feels the rapper should be jailed, and went on to say he was just doing his job.
A settlement has not been reached in the civil case, hence the “special plea” allowing Kanye to maintain his innocence.
Meanwhile the rapper doesn’t appear too phased as he and fiancée, Kim Kardashian move forward with wedding plans.
