PopDust.com is reporting Kelly Rowland is no longer listed on the Universal Republic’s roster of artist which has some speculating the singer has been dropped from the label.
Kelly nor the label have released a statement of such, but the move doesn’t seem strange since Kelly’s last album, “Talk a Good Game” only sold 215,000 copies worldwide. There had been talks of rereleasing the album with new tracks, but no further word on that.
With the cancellation of the X-Factor were hoping all of this is just rumor, but in case it’s not-sounds like a good time for Miss Kelly to go Indy. She’s had some bona-fide hits over the past few years, and 215,000 units wouldn’t be bad for an independent artist!
