Our favorite group of Doctors and Doctor’s wives returns to Bravo this Sunday for the season 2 premiere of ‘Married to Medicine’.
All of the original cast mates return with the exception of, Kari Wells. She will make a brief appearance in the first episode and it’s bye, bye darling after that.
There are two new additions this year: Dr. Heavenly Kimes, a dentist, and Lisa Nicole Cloud, a doctor’s wife with a background in sales and marketing.
This season, Mariah and Quad’s friendship is troubled due to a physical altercation last year. It seems outsiders have gotten in Quad’s ear and Mariah is green with envy.
Quad is still not ready to start a family, but her husband-13 years her senior is pressuring her to get the ball rolling.
Dr. Simone is challenged by the struggle between home and work which has led to marital problems.
Dr. Jackie is now considering alternative ways to have a child, but her husband-who’s not keen on the idea, seems to think that ship has sailed.
Toya has issues with Dr. Simone who danced up on her man at a charity event. She remains focused on raising her kids rather than a career.
Newbie, Dr. Heavenly is introduced as Toya’s dentist. She will bring the drama this season as she has the dirt on Dr. Jackie and Dr. Simone. She will host a cocktail party to introduce herself to the ladies and start to clash with Dr. Simone immediately. Simone mocks Heavenly for calling her husband daddy. Heavenly views a wife’s role as submissive to her husband and Simone just feels she’s too clingy. It’s Dr. Jackie’s turn next. Heavenly didn’t like her lecture to plus-sized women at a charity event, and said it sounded preachy and sanctimonious. Dr. Jackie snaps back by saying, your profession is not really considered a doctor. Ouch!
Catch the season 2 premiere of ‘Married to Medicine’, Sunday, April 6th at 9 p.m. after “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
I will be watching, will you?
