Nene Leakes has once again shown hypocrisy in the wake of the Bravo brawl during last nights reunion show taping. Casts are prohibited from discussing, or posting anything about the reunion until after it has aired; however, Nene decided to show support for fellow cast mate Porsha Williams tweeting:
Isn’t it ironic Nene is now showing love for Porsha-even though just last week she did nothing, but attack, and insult her on the Mexi-Loco episode.
What Porsha has done for Nene goes far. She offered a great-diversion from Nene’s criminal past featured in Star Magazine (see mug shots) yesterday. The timing was impeccable as Olivia Pope herself couldn’t have done a better job! Two, she did something that Nene and Phaedra wanted to do, but perspective status and careers would not allow.
Nene, who’s delusions rank her above every bitch in the room, “I quote”-told Essence magazine in regards to her feelings about the RHOA season, “I feel like these networks and production companies—I’m just keeping it real—I just feel like they build you up to tear you down. “I feel like they’ve done whatever they could do to try to not show me in the best light. I’m just saying that they’ve done whatever they could to try and diminish anything that I’ve done and I’m okay with it because I know about reality TV.”
The obvious hypocrisy in her previous claim that Bravo refused to make Marlo a housewife because, “She’s not our brand,” has now come to the forefront as Nene’s checkered past includes four arrests (just 3 shy of Marlo’s), and her mug shots have become a lightening rod for media outlets everywhere.
Could this be what Nene meant when she said the network built her up to tear her down?
I sure hope Porsha doesn’t fall for the okey-doke, be smart, and know-Nene Leakes is at best, a fair-weather friend who is simply joining forces against their arch nemesis, Kenya Moore (“The enemy of my enemy is my friend” kind of thing).
It’s a good thing that Nene has turned her life around but given her past, she should definitely be a lot less arrogant and certainly more humble!
