Avid readers know, I’ve often said Kanye West gives countless examples of hypocrisy in his music and speech and is in fact a walking contradiction.  Now, with the latest controversy surrounding a racist chant by Oklahoma State University frat, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, conservative talk show host, Rush Limbaugh has weighed in on the topic and I must say, he makes a valid point.

In the video, you can hear Sigma Alpha Epsilon chant — “You can hang him from a tree, but he can never sign with me. There will never be a ni***r SAE” — he could cash in on it.

As Rush put it, “If this had been a song by Kim Kardashian‘s husband, and they had sung this song at the Grammys … it’d be a hit.”

Yesterday, actress Lindsay Lohan tweeted a photo of Kanye onstage that included the caption, “#kanye&kimAlldaynigga$” and quickly deleted it.

Needless to say, the trend of using the n-word across all racial boundaries is in full effect!

But here’s the thing, remember last January when Kanye allegedly attacked an 18-year-old white kid in Beverly Hills for screaming N-Lover at Kim?  He had to reportedly shell-out $250 thousand for the incident though in reality, the kid was speaking the truth since we know Kanye loves referring to himself and other black men as the n-word and his wife has an affinity for black men.

Wonder if he would have taken equal offense had the kid call him the n-word instead?

Yes, Kanye and other rappers have been very busy normalizing the word, yet pick and choose when to take offense.  That’s utter nonsense!!!

I’ve been guilty of using the word in the past but never led a mixed-group sing along (not that that makes it any better) and never thought I’d see the day I’d agree with anything Rush Limbaugh says, but am happy he called Kanye out on this one.
